The WeMoney Innovation Awards celebrate products and services that offer innovative and market-leading features, as well as competitive experience to customers.

WeMoney Founder & CEO, Dan Jovevski, commented, “We’re thrilled to announce that Honey Insurance has been recognised for their incredible achievements in our WeMoney Innovation Awards.”

The award for Home Insurance Innovation of the Year is given to the home insurer that offers an innovative product and demonstrates how this addresses a key customer problem to be solved in the market. Honey’s customer-focused ethos is based on reducing claims with smart technology that alerts customers to accidents like fire, theft and water damage. Customers can choose to include complimentary smart home sensors on eligible Honey home and contents policies.

“The WeMoney Innovation Awards celebrate the most innovative brands and products in market. Honey's clear differentiation to provide smarter home insurance with in-home sensors was the key reason they won 'Home Insurance Innovation of the Year'. This is a hallmark recognition for Honey, helping Australian consumers identify great innovations in the marketplace.”

Jovevski concluded, “The award is well very deserved and is a testament to the success that Honey has seen across their suite of other awards.”

We give our customers $250 of technology upfront, and ongoing services to keep homes safer when they sign up for house and contents insurance. Honey then rewards them with a lower price on their insurance for being safer. Honey is underwritten by RACQ, one of the most trusted insurance companies in Australia.
